DFF-Saskatoon will have its opening screening at 7 PM on Friday, November 3, followed by three screenings on Saturday, November 4.

Second “Woman Life Freedom” seminar to commemorate the anniversary of Mahsa Amini's death, which also marked the beginning of the latest wave of feminism movements in Iran. It is intended to provide insight into the history of women’s movements in Iran through discussion and interviews with women’s rights scholars and activists, as well as presenting first hand personal stories of victims, protagonists and witnesses. One-day seminar in partnership with the Canadian International Council and the University of Saskatchewan Department of Political Studies. The colloquium, which featured guest speakers from the University of Pennsylvania, the University of Alberta, and the Sandgate Women's Shelter of York Region Inc., offered a perspective on how the current uprising in Iran is inspiring a paradigm shift in the struggle for a better world.
